Custom Dice Commissions

I love creating dice that match a certain character, player, or vibe! To that end, I handle commissions two ways:

  • Custom Commissions are where we work together to make the dice you imagine a reality. I’ll ask you for lots of detail about what you want, including character sketches, color swatches, or even a mood board, and do my best to bring it to life. I’ll be in touch frequently along the way. If you don’t like the first attempt, you can ask for a repour, and you’ll get to choose which of the two best fulfills your desires (but you do commit to buying at least one of the sets).

Traditional commissions start at $70 for a standard 7+ piece set, but that price can increase significantly based on complexity. Designs that I’ve already made are a little less costly than something totally new, so it’s worth taking a look at my Instagram or my shop to see the styles of dice I’ve made. Custom commissions can take upwards of a month depending on what else I have in the queue. I also may refuse a commission if I don’t believe I can do your idea justice. (If that happens, I will try to suggest another maker who might be more suited to your project.)

  • Concept Suggestions are much more free-form. They are perfect for those times you say “If you had this in your shop, I might be interested”. Unlike a custom commission, you don’t commit to buying anything. If your suggestion catches my fancy, I might make dice that fit (and try to ping you if I remember where the idea came from!). No promises though. Concept suggestions that have caught my attention in the past are things like “swamp-witch core”, “a handful of gems”, and “dice in this style you made before but in blue”.

Dice that come from concept suggestions are priced like other dice in my shop. There’s no premium for having them designed around your suggestion. The flip side, of course, is that I might not end up making them if I don’t feel I can do the idea justice.
