Need to fill a dungeon room on the fly? This pair of shiny blue d12s lets you roll up traps, treasure, monsters, and more with a single toss. Great for pre-session prep or when your players kick in a door you definitely didn’t plan for. Comes with a symbol key for easy interpretation.
Use the Layout die for creating the physical space, and the Challenge die for deciding what lurks within.
About this Set
- Dungeon Design Dice consist of a pair of oversized rhombic d12s, each with a specific purpose.
- The Layout die helps your brainstorm physical features of the space, including rooms, hallways, level changes, dead ends, secrets or puzzles, and magical effects.
- The Challenge die helps you brainstorm some of the more transient encounters your party may face. These include monsters, traps, minions or swarms, environmental hazards, locked things, helpful items or treasure, and, of course, signs of the 'boss'.
- Each die measures approximately 26mm (1in) tall when resting on the table.
- These dice are handmade, which means they are molded, cast, polished, and inked by hand, one face at a time. While some mold marks or imperfections may be present, it is well-balanced and should roll true for casual play.
