Description
These mushroom-shaped LIT dice glow with a soft ember light when they roll across the powered tray. The red, orange, and gold caps warm up from within, giving each piece the gentle look of a coal that’s just beginning to spark. They’re bright enough to catch the eye without overwhelming it, and they keep their charm even once they settle on the table.
Each die in this set uses a single LED that’s centered in the base, so the glow rises cleanly through the cap without any loose components inside. The tray provides the power, the dice provide the magic, and together they create a cozy little moment every time you roll.
The powered dice tray brings the fire theme home with a black base scattered with red and gold sparkle, like embers caught in ash. With the black (upcycled) leather lining, it lets the warm glow of the mushrooms show without overpowering them.
About these Light-Up Dice
- This set consists of a full set of light-up dice (1d20, 1d12, 1d%, 1d10, 1d8, 1d6, and 1d4) and a powered dice tray.
- My mushroom dice are based on the premise that dice shape and design can evolve with technology, knowledge, and creativity. As long as the shapes promote fair play, there's no reason dice must be the same as those that came with the original box set.
- Because of their unusual shapes, each die is labeled with its type-- so you'll always know whether you're rolling a d12, d10, or something else.
- While these shapes are non-traditional, they are all functional and as balanced and fair as any other handmade dice.

- Each mushroom die contains a tiny wireless LED that light up when it gets near the powered dice tray. Lighting depends on alignment—so while they don’t glow every time, most rolls produce at least a flicker.
- The dice tray is the power source. It must be plugged into a wall outlet, power bank, or other electric source in order for the dice to light.
- There are no batteries in my light-up dice, and they don’t need to be charged.
- The LEDs are expected to last around 8,000 hours. (That’s a lot of game nights.) They’re sealed inside the dice and cannot be replaced—but for most users, they’ll last for years.
- These are handmade resin dice, and like all handmade things, small variations and surface imperfections may occur. They are cast, sanded, and polished by hand—not mass-produced. The dice tray, too, is cast resin, and goes thru the same polishing process as my handmade dice—though admittedly a bit less rigorously.

The glow is part of the experience, but not the whole point. These dice are designed to feel good in your hand and look beautiful on your table—even when they’re not lit.
