Light-up fixed core dice set and powered dice tray

Description
This set looks like a spell caught mid-casting—black flames ring each die, and molten script dances across the surface. The glow is subtle but deliberate, like embers that haven't gone out yet. The matching resin dice tray is lined in deep red felt. It’s a proper hearth for these quietly glowing dice.
This design was an early prototype, each die drilled and set with a single, fixed LED. That means less light than other LIT sets and no promise of perfect balance—but the design was made to support the glow, and in casual use they seem to roll just fine.
About these Light-Up Dice
- This set consists of a full set of light-up dice (2d20, 1d12, 1d%, 1d10, 1d8, 1d6, and 1d4) and a powered dice tray.
- The dice contain tiny wireless LEDs that light up when they pass near the powered dice tray. Lighting depends on alignment—so while they don’t glow every time, most rolls produce at least a flicker.
- The dice tray is the power source. It must be plugged into a wall outlet, power bank, or other electric source in order for the dice to light.
- There are no batteries in my light-up dice, and they don’t need to be charged.
- The LEDs are expected to last around 8,000 hours. (That’s a lot of game nights.) They’re sealed inside the dice and cannot be replaced—but for most users, they’ll last for years.
- These dice are fully playable, but not precision-balanced. As an early prototype, each die has a single LED placed by hand in a drilled blank. That means a little less light than other LIT sets, and the balance isn’t mathematically centered—but they roll cleanly in casual use, and they’re far too striking to never see the light of day.
- The d20 measures approximately 24 mm tall when resting on the table, and the other dice are sized accordingly. The dice tray is roughly 7x8 inches—small enough to fit on your table but big enough that you can roll a fistful of dice in it.
- These are handmade resin dice, and like all handmade things, small variations and surface imperfections may occur. They are cast, sanded, and polished by hand—not mass-produced. The dice tray, too, is cast resin, and goes thru the same polishing process as my handmade dice—though admittedly a bit less rigorously.
- The glow is part of the experience, but not the whole point. These dice are designed to feel good in your hand and look beautiful on your table—even when they’re not lit.
Notable Quirks
Not exactly a quirk, but still important to note... These dice not precision-balanced. As an early prototype, each die has a single LED placed by hand in a drilled blank. That means a little less light than other LIT sets, and the balance isn’t mathematically centered. But they've rolled cleanly in my casual testing.
